ALOR STAR, (16 Ogos, 2008) : Youngest Tower Climber, four-year-old Muhammad Syahrulnizam Mohd Noor made another success today when he completed the climb at the Alor Star Tower here in 40 minutes.The climb at the Alor Star Tower was held in conjunction with the 2008 Kuala Lumpur Tower International Jump.Muhammad Syahrulnizam began his climb of the Alor Star Tower at 9.58am, accompanied by his father, Mohd Noor Mat Amin, who climbed Mount Kinabalu 50 times last year.The boy has earned a placed in the Malaysia Book of records as being the Youngest Tower Climber for his feat in completing the climb of the 2,058 stairs of the Kuala Lumpur Tower (KL Tower) in one hour and 13 minutes.Mohd Noor, when met by reporters today, said his son followed him on his training since he was three years old."I'll send him for check-up to ensure that he is fit and healthy before allowing him to climb," he added.Mohd Noor also made a record for climbing the Alor Star Tower 50 times in conjunction with the golden jubilee celebration to commemorate the 50-year reign of the Kedah Sultan Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah recently. -- BERNAMA
